Bands can have epic nights at bars and small venues that they're going to remember for a while. Yet no matter how much they try to deny it, playing at a spot like the Northwell at Jones Beach Theater is always going to be special! If you're planning on traveling for any stop on the Drops of Jupiter 25 Years in the Atmosphere tour this Saturday, July 18th concert should be the winner! Train, Barenaked Ladies & Matt Nathanson come to Jones Beach Theater in what promises to be one of the most memorable summer tours in all of 2026.

The entire performance is like taking a train down to the 2000s and staying there for just a little while. You'll want your Soul Sister to make the journey with you! Some of the stops on this journey will include the "Big Bang Theory" theme song performed by the Barenaked Ladies. Matt Nathanson, for his part, will invite you to "Come On Get Higher."

Check the calendar and you'll know that we're not lying. This is one of the best concerts at the Jones Beach Theater all year. Don't risk being left on the outside looking in. Hit that "Buy Tickets" link now.

Drops of Jupiter 25 Years in the Atmosphere

A lot of these tracks fit the summer tour scene perfectly! Sure, they're going to make you feel like you're in the 06 summer tour rather than the 26, but at least the Train soundtrack has aged beautifully. That's not something that you can honestly say about all of the bands from the era. There's something about those cacthy and  the timeless romantic lyrics that make any day a great way to put  on a track like "Soul Sister." As mentioned, the supporting acts are also going to fall in line with similar vibes to craft a truly memorable experience.

Music Fest Vibes at the Jones Beach Theater, Starring Train

Let's be real, you get music fest vibes at this venue just for being here. It comes with the views, the seating layout, and just everything that makes the Jones Beach Theater special. Then add to that the 2000s rock that's going to come blasting from the speakers from the moment that Matt Nathanson takes the stage. Also, keep in mind that each of these three performers offers a different musical style. That also helps weave that music narrative. It might just be the last time that Train are able to play their true anthems at this venue. Don't risk being left on the outside looking in.

Best Spots Inside the Jones Beach Theater

Each "spot" is going to have its pros and cons. If you're near the stage and you're jumping up and down with beach balls flying all over the place, you're going to be feeling the true concert vibe. You can get a similar feeling toward the back of the theater, but you'll lose a little bit of the closeness with the band. What you can also opt for is a spot in the middle of the bleachers with an awesome view of the show and a perfect route to your nearest concession stand to refuel. That also might be tougher to do from the very front.

As we've said, this might just be the very best summer concert at this venue in all of 2026. Hit that "Buy Tickets" link to make sure you don't miss it.
