New York is getting its first-ever corridos music festival. Over at the East Coast, Jones Beach Theater will be the spot to catch some of the biggest names and rising Latin music artists. A celebration of culture, tunes, and community, the Migo Festival packs a punch with an extensive lineup of artists. Headliners include Neton Vega, Chino Pacas, and Aleman. Plus, a string of artists including DannyLux, Estevie, Jasiel Nuñez, and many more emerging acts will be hitting the stage as well. 

About the Festival

Migo Fest is organized by Migo Events - a New York-based inclusive community and organization that supports Latin artists and culture with many initiatives. With support from VPS Music, Viva Toro, and StaffingRus, this one-of-a-kind music fest in NY marks history, and it definitely won't be the last. Part of ticket proceeds will go to the Migo Fund, a nonprofit made to support emerging immigrant artists in the community. Helping launch dreams and careers, the Migo Fund helps these rising names take their potential & talent to the next level. 

"Migo Fest was created based on the PueblaYork community that is going through pressing times," co-founder Paulina Montiel shared in an official statement, sharing how they are more united than ever. "I’m excited to be bringing the first Corridos Music Festival to the iconic Jones Beach Theater, especially since it will be most of these artists’ first time performing in New York City."

Proudly presenting artists whose corridos share much heart, this is the time to turn up in support of Latin music in one action-packed day. 

About the Performers

• Neton Vega - This Mexican singer-songwriter hailing from La Paz, Baja California Sur is one of the most prominent names in regional Mexican music, especially his corridos tumbados. The man offers fresh takes in the genre, and even caugh the attention of Peso Pluma for his songwriting skills. From writing tracks for some of the biggest names out there, the man started dropping his own music, with his 2023 debut single "Nos Amaneció". His collaboration with Luis R. Conriquez on "Si No Quieres No" made headlines and charted on the Hot 100.
• Chino Pacas - This young star marked a new generation in Mexican music, making waves in the "urban sierreño" genre. At a young age, he gained massive international fame & acclaim. His debut single "El Gordo Trae El Mando" became a viral hit through TikTok, catching the attention of various artists including Jesús Ortiz Paz of Fuerza Regida. He's the youngest Mexican artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, only at the age of 16.
• Alemán - One of the biggest names in Mexican rap, he's a leading figure in hip-hop. Inspired by legends 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G. and Mexican rap pioneers such as Control Machete and Cartel de Santa, the man has grown to become one of crtics' choice among the best Spanish-language rappers. With oustanding storytelling abilities and a smooth flow, his beats dive deep into street life, struggle, and success.
