Northwell at Jones Beach Theater
Imagine one Sunday summer night of folk and surf-rock music made Better Together with a waterside venue and a live performance of Jack Johnson. Best known for his hits Sitting, Waiting, Wishing, Upside Down, and I Got You, Johnson is more than ready to sing his hit songs for the crowd on the southern shore of Long Island for one night of his SURFILMUSIC Tour.
Johnson and his guitar will make big waves at the Jones Beach Theater on Sunday, 28th June 2026, as he performs songs from his eight albums, including Grammy Award-nominated and Billboard Award-nominated hits. After gaining multiple spots on the Billboard 200 chart, making eight incredible albums, and entertaining 11.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, he is more than ready to give a memorable show to a live audience again. Joining Johnson on stage are Latin instrumental band Hermanos Gutiérrez, Alternative/Indie band Lake Street Dive, and G. Love & Special Sauce frontman Garrett Dutton. The blend of their rich music together will definitely give the audience an unforgettable show that Only The Ocean can capture.
Before his song Upside Down became famous on TikTok, Jack Johnson’s music had already caught the attention of the Grammy Awards and the Billboard Awards. The artist, who first made headlines with his promising skills in surfing, is making sure that his upcoming tour will be a celebration of his close ties with music, surfing, and filmmaking.
Deeply influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Johnson was discovered by frontman Garrett Dutton of G.Love & Special Sauce after he played his originally composed song Rodeo Clowns. The laid-back, easy melody of the song launched the beginning of Johnson’s lengthy music career and became his signature style throughout his eight albums. Today, his songs Banana Pancakes, I Got You, and Hope are still fondly listened to by fans worldwide and are even being “rediscovered”, thanks to social media.
Johnson will be accompanied by Latin instrumental band Hermanos Gutiérrez, Alternative/Indie band Lake Street Dive, and G. Love & Special Sauce frontman Garrett Dutton throughout his SURFILMUSIC Summer Tour in America. It will also be a sentimental concert as he shares the stage with Garrett Dutton once again.
The surfer-filmmaker-musician will be playing closely with the waves as he sings with the Atlantic Ocean behind him on 28th June 2026 at the Jones Beach Theater in New York. The venue can accommodate up to 15,000 concert attendees. His upcoming tour will benefit ocean conservation projects, with a portion of ticket sales going to non-profit groups.
