Locations all throughout the country will be converted into Barbie Land, allowing visitors to see Barbie the Movie like never before! Live music for the entire feature film will be provided by a well-known all-women orchestra led by Macy Schmidt, with the bulk of the players being women of color.

Warner Bros. released the movie Barbie on July 21, 2023. Barbie, which is helmed by Greta Gerwig and is the biggest grossing movie of 2023 and Warner Bros. history, is based on a screenplay co-written by Gerwig and Noah Baumbach. It's the first theatrical production from Mattel Films.
Produced by Overture Global Entertainment, Barbie The Movie: In Concert is a live-to-film concert event that will connect Warner Bros. and The Barbie Land Sinfonietta, an exclusive performance by the all-female, mostly women-of-color orchestra led by orchestrator and executive producer Macy Schmidt. The film will be brought to the audience with live music then creating a remarkable theatrical production.
Beginning on July 2nd and visiting 37 cities, fans in North America will get the chance to experience Barbie like never before when they are transported to Barbie Land this summer.
The Barbie Land Sinfonietta will be performing the film's award-winning score while the record-breaking movie is projected onto a massive LED screen above them. The tour will feature photo ops, special limited-edition merchandise, and more as fans of all ages celebrate the music of 2023's highest-grossing film Barbie The Movie: In ConcertTM, a live-to-film concert experience produced by Overture Global Entertainment that will bring Warner Bros. The Barbie Land Sinfonietta, an exclusive performance by the all-female, mostly women-of-color orchestra led by orchestrator and executive producer Macy Schmidt, brought live music to the picture Barbie, Mattel Film's debut theatrical production.

With three victories in major categories including song of the year, best song composed for visual media (Billie Eilish O'Connell and Finneas O'Connell, "What Was I Made For?"), and best compilation soundtrack for visual media, Barbie's music was nominated for eleven Grammy Awards.
