She describes her comeback record as "a musical journey of self-discovery and healing," hailed for its blend of music that sparks relaxation and ambient meditative themes.

About the album, "all I knew is that I wanted to write a record that would offer something, and throughout the process of creating with Dave Harrington, beautifully and mercifully, it became its own multi-layered life raft during a time where I felt like I might disappear and float away," Alanis shared in a reflective Instagram post. It's definitely an introspective journey for every listener.

This time around, as she prepares for her massive North American trek next year, Alanis released a new Christmas single "Last Christmas", as part of her EP featuring previously-released covers of holiday tracks including John Lennon & Yoko Ono’s “Happy Xmas (War is Over), Katherine Kennicott Davis’ “Little Drummer Boy”, and William Chatterton Dix’s “What child is this?”.
