Northwell at Jones Beach Theater
The Berzerkus 2026 festival is coming to Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York on Saturday, August 29th, 2016 and is going to be one of the greatest metal experiences of a lifetime! Put on by the great guitar hero Zakk Wylde, the show will feature Lamb of God playing songs from their brand new album Into Oblivion which was just released a few months ago. They will be sure to play tracks such as “Walk with Me in Hell” as well as other fan favorites from throughout their critically acclaimed discography.
The supporting acts include the Southern Rock band, Down, who are playing their first NYC-area show in over 10 years, Suicidal Tendencies, who were a part of the crossover thrash movement that helped define the sound of that genre, and Zakk Wylde’s two active bands, Black Label Society and Zakk Sabbath. Dark Chapel and several other artists will round out the bill.
Gates open at 2:00PM with music starting at 4:00PM. Berzerkus 2026 festival passes are available for one day for as low as $54.
Berzerkus 2026 will kick off on August 28th in Scranton, PA with the same lineup that will be featured in the NYC show on August 29th at Northwell at Jones Beach Theater (Wantagh, NY). The festival, brought to the NYC area by Zakk Wylde, will feature some of the most unique live music on the planet, with performances by an impressive list of heavy-hitters, including Lamb of God, Black Label Society, Down, Suicidal Tendencies, Zakk Sabbath, Dark Chapel, and many more.
Once inside, fans can expect to find a car show, a Strong Man Competition, a Hot Sauce Eating Competition, and even a Ride for Dime charity event, in addition to The Music Experience and much, much more to be announced.
Lamb of God is a group of five devastating metal musicians from Richmond, VA. Pioneers of the new wave of American heavy metal they are a hair raising hair band that deliver heavy riffs that take influence from the groove metal of bands such as Pantera, and the metalcore and thrash of bands such as Slipknot and Five Finger Death Punch. Classic songs by Lamb of God such as “Laid to Rest,” “Redneck,” “Walk with Me in Hell,” “512,” and “Ghost Walking” show off their ability to deliver a large amount of energy in their performances.
The band is currently working on a new album to be released in 2026 titled “Into Oblivion” and continue to grow as musicians. With five Grammy nominations for Best Metal Performance and appearances on the Billboard Top 15 charts, Lamb of God is one of the best metal bands to emerge in the past few decades.
The unique sludge metal style of Down brings an intense show of heavy riffs & intense lyrics delivered by a collection of intense powerful vocalists. Featuring members of Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity and Crowbar their 1st appearance in the NYC area in over 10 years will deliver a heavy & intense performance of songs like "Bury the Hatchet", "Lifer", "Stone the Crow" and more!
The punk metal band Suicidal Tendencies will bring their unique style of thrash punk metal as they blend the intensity and aggression of thrash metal with the attitude and energy of punk to create hair raising heavy music. Exoect classic cuts such as “Institutionalized”, “You Can’t Bring Me Down”, and “Send Me Your Money” as well as well as other songs from their large and diverse catalog of music.

The venue has seats for up to 13,855-15,000 patrons, which allows for a variety of seating options, including reserved seating with a chair, lawn seating, and even club level seating in the venue’s many VIP Club areas.

Free parking is available in Fields #4 and #5.
