Legendary R&B girl group TLC is responsible for several ‘90s staples, such as “Creep,” “Don’t Go Chasing Waterfalls,” “Unpretty,” and “No Scrubs.” The phenomenal trio, comprising former member Lisa Lopez, and current members Tionne Watkins and Rozonda Thomas, has made history as one of the best-selling girl groups in music history. They sold over 85 million albums worldwide and earned numerous accolades. The girls’ three-decade career has earned them four Grammy Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards, an American Music Award, and a Pop Award.
Shaggy also dominated the ‘90s with his iconic hip-hop/reggae fusion. He released his breakthrough album, Boombastic, in 1995 and spawned the phenomenal title track “In the Summertime” and “Why You Treat Me so Bad.” In 2000, Shaggy topped his best-selling album, Hot Shot, which spawned the monster hit singles “It Wasn’t Me” and “Angel.” Shaggy has sold over 20 million albums worldwide, making him among the best-selling reggae artists.
