On Saturday, 12th August 2023, Joe Bonamassa will light up the Jones Beach Theater with his biggest hits, fan favorites, and new songs from this latest album, Time Clocks! The show is also set to feature special guests, such as rock sensations Styx and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Don Felder! Joe Bonamassa’s tour is almost sold out. Hence, due to insistent public demand, the highly-acclaimed blues musician adds several more dates. The announcement of additional dates follows the news of his wildly anticipated live concert film, Tale of Times. The concert film, produced in collaboration with renowned producer Kevin Shirley, was taken from Bonamassa’s performance at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in 2022. The material comprises songs from his latest effort, Time Clocks, which entered three U.S. Billboard categories and the charts in 12 other countries.
Time Clocks follows Bonamassa’s critically-acclaimed 2020 album, Royal Tea. The fourteenth studio effort earned Bonamassa his third Grammy nomination when it earned a nod for Best Contemporary Blues Album. His two other Grammy nominations were earned in 2016 (Best Traditional Blues Album for Live at the Greek Theatre) and 2013 (Best Blues Album for Seesaw).
Since 2002, Bonamassa has been creating exemplary blues rock music. He released his debut album, A New Day Yesterday, in 2000. The album performed moderately well and charted in the U.K. and four other European countries. Seven years later, he finally broke into the U.S. charts with The Ballad of John Henry. By 2010, Bonamassa finally had his U.S. breakthrough when his eighth album Black Rock entered Billboard 200’s Top 50 and topped the Blues chart.
